Tom Norberg’s DogCam concept is designed to help owners stay connected to a dog’s journey through a companion application and carefully selected camera hardware. The roadmap brings live viewing, location and route context, recorded evidence, and incident documentation into one mobile experience so owners can understand what happened before, during, and after an outdoor event.

How we approached it

Challenge & approach

Every engagement starts from a constraint. This is the problem Tom Norberg brought to us, and the route the team took through it.

The challenge

A useful pet-safety product has to work beyond a controlled demo. Camera connectivity must remain dependable while the dog is moving, location data needs to form a readable route, recordings must be available when an incident matters, and the hardware has to remain stable and comfortable enough for real walks. Each part also needs to fit a simple mobile flow that an owner can use quickly under stress.

Our approach

The planned engagement starts with discovery, user-experience architecture, and hardware selection so physical constraints inform the application from the beginning. The next stages establish camera connectivity and live viewing, add GPS tracking and route mapping, then introduce a recording engine and structured incident documentation. Final testing focuses on the complete hardware-software journey rather than evaluating the app in isolation.
