Executive summary

XPERTS Marketplace

What Andreas set out to build, how the engagement was scoped, and the shape of the product that came out of it.

Andreas partnered with Deployed to deliver XPERTS Marketplace as one consolidated product engagement.

XPERTS is a field-service marketplace designed to connect customers with technicians through secure access, mobile-first work journeys, and structured matching. The engagement brought the product rules, backend foundation, technician experience, and matching workflow into one coordinated release plan.

How we approached it

Challenge & approach

Every engagement starts from a constraint. This is the problem Andreas brought to us, and the route the team took through it.

The challenge

The marketplace concept needed to become a practical product without losing the connection between its customer-facing and technician-facing journeys. Authentication, service participation, mobile workflows, and matching behavior all had to follow the same product logic so the first release could be tested as a complete experience rather than a collection of disconnected features.

Our approach

Deployed began by clarifying the product specification, core user roles, and the sequence of marketplace interactions. The team then established the backend and authentication layer, built the technician mobile workflow on that foundation, and completed the matching system so each stage used the same rules, identities, and operational flow.

Delivery scope

The engagement, stage by stage

All 4 stages below belong to the same consolidated customer project. Each one builds on the stage before it rather than running as a separate piece of work.

  1. Planning & SpecificationOpens the engagement and leads into Backend & Auth.
  2. Backend & AuthBuilds on Planning & Specification and leads into Technician Mobile App.
  3. Technician Mobile AppBuilds on Backend & Auth and leads into Matching System.
  4. Matching SystemBuilds on Technician Mobile App to complete the engagement.

Working model

How the engagement was run

The same delivery model sits behind every customer story on this site.

  • One consolidated project Every stage stayed inside a single engagement instead of being split into separate workstreams, so scope, identities, and product rules were decided once.
  • Sequenced, not parallel Each of the 4 stages built on the output of the one before it, which kept later decisions anchored to work that was already proven.
  • Shipped as one product Andreas received a release that resolves into a coherent mobile marketplace rather than a set of disconnected features.

Outcome

What Andreas has now

A field-service marketplace that turns technician matching into one secure mobile journey.

The result is a cohesive marketplace foundation that supports secure participation, technician mobility, and structured matching in one product. Andreas can use the shipped platform to validate real-world workflows, gather feedback from both sides of the marketplace, and prioritize future releases from a stable technical and product baseline.
