How we approached it

Challenge & approach

Every engagement starts from a constraint. This is the problem Hans-Jörg Wolff brought to us, and the route the team took through it.

The challenge

Users experiencing dental anxiety may disengage quickly when language, visual design, or questioning feels impersonal. The application therefore needed to establish trust from the first screen, gather meaningful anxiety information through a manageable assessment, and maintain an appropriate medical tone without increasing stress.

Our approach

Deployed shaped the experience architecture and tone before implementing the application infrastructure. Onboarding was designed to introduce the product gradually, while the guided anxiety test organizes user input into a clear sequence that can support more relevant follow-up experiences.

Delivery scope

The engagement, stage by stage

All 2 stages below belong to the same consolidated customer project. Each one builds on the stage before it rather than running as a separate piece of work.

  1. Discovery, UX Architecture & Medical Tone DesignOpens the engagement and leads into App Infrastructure, Onboarding & Anxiety Test.
  2. App Infrastructure, Onboarding & Anxiety TestBuilds on Discovery, UX Architecture & Medical Tone Design to complete the engagement.

Working model

How the engagement was run

The same delivery model sits behind every customer story on this site.

  • One consolidated project Every stage stayed inside a single engagement instead of being split into separate workstreams, so scope, identities, and product rules were decided once.
  • Sequenced, not parallel Each of the 2 stages built on the output of the one before it, which kept later decisions anchored to work that was already proven.
  • Shipped as one product Hans-Jörg Wolff received a release that resolves into a coherent healthcare mobile application rather than a set of disconnected features.
