How we approached it

Challenge & approach

Every engagement starts from a constraint. This is the problem Barbara Mazur brought to us, and the route the team took through it.

The challenge

Audio-led wellness products rely heavily on atmosphere, timing, and ease of use. The application needed to communicate its concept clearly, reduce friction between selecting and starting a session, and support specialized audio behavior without allowing technical controls to distract from the intended meditative experience.

Our approach

Deployed used discovery and specification work to define the core session journey and the role of nature-frequency audio. The user experience was completed before frontend implementation, allowing the custom audio engine to be integrated into an interface already designed around calm navigation, clear choices, and uninterrupted listening.

Delivery scope

The engagement, stage by stage

All 3 stages below belong to the same consolidated customer project. Each one builds on the stage before it rather than running as a separate piece of work.

  1. Discovery & SpecificationOpens the engagement and leads into UI/UX Design Completion.
  2. UI/UX Design CompletionBuilds on Discovery & Specification and leads into Core App Development (Frontend & Audio Engine).
  3. Core App Development (Frontend & Audio Engine)Builds on UI/UX Design Completion to complete the engagement.

Working model

How the engagement was run

The same delivery model sits behind every customer story on this site.

  • One consolidated project Every stage stayed inside a single engagement instead of being split into separate workstreams, so scope, identities, and product rules were decided once.
  • Sequenced, not parallel Each of the 3 stages built on the output of the one before it, which kept later decisions anchored to work that was already proven.
  • Shipped as one product Barbara Mazur received a release that resolves into a coherent wellness mobile application rather than a set of disconnected features.

Outcome
